We used to list the requirements as a convenience to our students, however, both federal and state requirements are in transition at this time. For this reason, we suggest you call the Florida Office of Regulation directly at 850-410-9895. You will have to complete the 24-Hour Florida Mortgage Pre-licensing Course at a state-accredited Florida mortgage school IN PERSON. Currently, this course is not allowed as an online course by the state. You may, however, complete your continuing education in the future online or by correspondent course, which we offer. You may verify our state-accredited Florida mortgage school through this link: MORTGAGE BUSINESS and LENDER LICENSES: In order to conduct business, you must place your license with a Florida mortgage or lending business or you may open your own business if you qualify. You can find information about this also on the Florida Office of Financial Regulation website at http://www.flofr.com/Finance/index.htm. (Florida mortgage businesses are not required to have a physical office located in Florida, however, they must have a business license registered with the state.)
